Jo Wokoun, 77, of Keaau, died April 28, 2012 at Hilo Medical Center. Born October 9, 1934, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, she was retired from Civil Service, a former shuttle driver for Big Island Honda and member of Kinoole Baptist Church and 650 Bowling League. Private services were held. Scattering of ashes at a later date. Memorial donations in Jo’s memory may be sent to the Hawaii Island Humane Society, P.O. Box 939, Keaau, HI 96749. Survived by husband, Dennis T. Wokoun of Keaau; sons, Richard L. Rager of Corpus Christi, Texas, John E. Rager of Mountain View, Hawaii, William D. Rager of Lebanon, Pennsylvania; aunt, Johnny Miller of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
