Ms. Maxima Acob Yarte, 98, of Hilo, HI, died at the Life Care Center of Hilo on Friday, May 18, 2012. She was born in the Philippines and was a retired farmer. She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Private services were held. She is survived by her: brother, Leanard Yarte of the Philippines; sister, Dionisia Yarte of the Philippines; and sister in law, Pacita Yarte of the Philippines; numerous nieces & nephews.
