The Reverend Margaret Kalani Mahi Naeole, 68, of Hilo, formerly of Honolulu, died June 6, 2012 at her home. Born in Hilo, she was a minister and member of Ke Ola Mau Loa Church in Waimea and former member of Ka Makua Mau Loa Church in Honolulu. Friends may call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo; funeral service at 9:30 a.m. Following the service brunch will be served. Burial 12 noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No.2. Casual attire. Donations may be sent c/o Galewyn Garcia, PO Box 7566, Hilo, HI 96720. Survived by brothers, The Reverend Abraham Mahi of Waimea, Jacob “Sonny Boy” (Lani) Mahi of Honolulu, Paul Mahi of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Elizabeth “Peka” Halualani, Dinah Kaikuana, both of Hilo, Phoebe Hopfe of Honolulu, Katherine Mahi of Kona; numerous nieces and nephews.
