Robert “Bob” Myron Smith, Sr., 67, of Hilo, died August 8, 2012 at Hilo Medical Center. Born August 6, 1945, in Worcester, Massachusetts, he was retired from the County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation and a member of Haili Church. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo; wake service at 7 p.m. Friends may again call from 9-10 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2012, at Haili Church; funeral service at 10 a.m.; cremation to follow.
