William Roger Teague, Jr., 67, of Hilo, died February 20, 2014 at home. He had ALS. Born in Exeter, New Hampshire, he was a retired civil service firefighter from the U.S. Department of the Army at Pohakuloa Training Area, U.S. Navy veteran with 3 tours of duty in Vietnam, former police officer and volunteer firefighter in Epping, New Hampshire, and held numerous volunteer positions. Celebration of life 2 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the family residence in Hilo. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Shirley Teague of Hilo; son, Roger (Emily) Teague of Tucson, Ariz.; daughter, Tasha Teague of Beaverton, Ore.; brothers, Michael (Donna) St. John, Donald (Mary) Maynard, both of Raymond, N.H.; sister, Jackie Lemmon of Burlington, N.J.; brothers-in-law, Harry (Janice) Pettis of Littleton, N.H., Wayne Bonenfant of Epping, N.H.; two grandsons, Dayton and Tyler Teague of Tucson, Ariz.; nieces, Michelle (Matt) Rogers of Nottingham, N.H., Brianna (Jean’) Bergeron of Raymond, N.H., Julie Samuels of Hillsboro, N.H., Kecia Bonenfant of Hilo; numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
